It was first observed in sweet chestnut orchards in Warwickshire (confirmed 2011) and East Sussex (confirmed 2012), with (as of 16th April 2013) further confirmed findings at 1 nursery and 7 private residences. A risk assessment has been requested to help inform decisions on possible further strengthening of the Protected Zone requirements.
