In February 2019, larvae of this pest were intercepted in asparagus from Peru. As a non-listed pest, this PRA was commissioned to better understand the risk this pest poses to the UK. It is still unclear if this pest could establish in the UK, but the risk was considered unlikely (with low confidence). It is, however, clear that this pest would not have a significant impact were it to establish.
