The present Quickscan was initiated after the interception of the Lepidoptera species Spodoptera cosmioides on Dracaena plants from Costa Rica. The species is polyphagous and is known as a pest of various crops in Brazil. It can likely establish in the open in southern Europe and possibly in glasshouses in northern Europe and is a potential pest of various crop species in Europe.
